About the project

For the launch event and subsequent participation in Elon Musk's Not-a-Boring-Competition in 2021, TUM Boring partnered with Skeno to create a one-minute-long animation showcasing the team's tunnel boring machine. Developed by 60 team members, the machine was conceived and planned for production with the help of CAD software and then transferred to Skeno for texturing, animating, and ultimately rendering.

The team from Technical University of Munich won the Not-a-Boring Competition in Las Vegas in 2021.
